I’m actually making it a conscious effort not to pick more than two favorites each month. Let’s see how long I can life up to this challenge!  So, because of the lasting impact these books had, my favorite books of the month are The Bear by Claire Cameron and Above by Isla Morley. Two very different books, both very impactful!

I actually didn’t get very many books read this month because I was in the middle of like, um, 10. I know, I know! I need help. I’m beginning to finish most now so April’s number will be higher though technically I read most of the books’ weights in March. Oh well, such is my Book A.D.D. life lol

I have this rule: I don’t read more than three books at a time. Generally, at least one of those is an audiobook. If I want to start a new book, I have to finish another. It helps a great deal, otherwise I’d be reading like 5 or 6 at the same time!

Speaking as a mother of two myself, The Bear isn’t as emotionally devastating as ROOM. There are some difficult moments, but overall a hopeful and uplifting read.
