Do I respond to pitch emails? If I am interested in reviewing that particular book, yes. I receive several pitch emails a week and do not have the time to respond to each and every one. I generally respond to all pitch emails within one week.
Books I Review: I review most fiction, including literary fiction, mainstream, women’s fiction, suspense/thriller, horror and YA.
Books I Do Not Review: Most non-fiction, romance, self-help, or self-published.
Unsolicted Books: Due to the overwhelming number of review requests I receive, I cannot guarantee reviews of unsolicited books.
Review Schedule: I do have a set review schedule and will generally work with you to fit your review request into that schedule. I generally post 1-3 reviews per week.
Review Timeline: I typically post a review for a book in the month that it is published. If I receive a book after the publication date, I will schedule the review as close to the release date as possible. Exceptions include book tours. Reviews for book tours will be posted on the book tour date.
Honesty in Reviewing: I cannot promise a positive review, but my reviews are always honest. I do disclose the source of review books. Review books received from authors, publicists, or publishers are provided to me free of charge in exchange for my review. This free product in no way influences my review.
Compensation: I do not receive compensation for reviewing books. I do belong to Amazon’s affiliate program. Any money earned from this affiliate program go directly into maintaining my blog (hosting fees, shipping costs for giveaways).
Book Formats: I do accept e-books in PDF and epub format.
Where else do I post my reviews? I post my reviews on Librarything and Amazon.
What do I do with ARCs once I have finished reading them? I do not sell the ARCs that are given to me for review, but occasionally will host a giveaway for the ARC.
