Wrapping up 2010! Happy New Year

You won’t see any 2010 “favorite book lists” here on the blog. Instead, I’m looking forward to reading some great books in 2011!

This weekend I’m curling up with a great mystery series, The White House Chef Mysteries by Julie Hyzy.  I’ve owned this series for a while and when I was pitched the newest book, Buffalo West Wing, for review, I had the perfect excuse to pick up this series & read it.

This leads me to my blogging goal for 2011:

ImageChef.com - Custom comment codes for MySpace, Hi5, Friendster and more Specifically, reading books I already own or books I genuinely want to read.  So many times I read posts or tweets by other bloggers stating that blogging seems like a chore to them because they are reading books pitched to them rather than what they really wanted to read. The fix is easy! Stop reading what others want you to read and read what you want!   You own your blog! You get to decide what you read & review.  I was able to do this this last year and let me say, it is quite liberating!

So, looking forward to 2011, following are some books I have lined up to read for review in the next month!

The Sentry by Robert Crais
The Weird Sisters by Eleanor Brown
The Cypress House by Michael Koryta
Shadowfever by Karen Marie Moning
Lucifer’s Tears by James Thompson

What books are you looking forward to reading in 2011?
