Thats a lot of books. I’m lucky if I get time to read 10 pages a day. Still working my way through the Dark Tower series by Stephen King. Loving every pages more than the last. Almost at the end of book five, then its numbers six and seven to go before I swap to a different author for a little while. Got volumes 3-6 of the blooks of blood and also The STRAIN on the book shelf plus a host of others.
I’ll check back to see how you enjoyed The Slap. I read it some time ago. In the meantime, have a lovely reading week!

Oh Jenn, I have to tell you about the author I’m reading and listening to right now. While I knew who he was about a year ago, this is the first chance I’ve had to read him and he’s ASTOUNDING! His name is R.J. (Roger Jon) Ellory. I’m reading his debut, which was CANDLEMOTH and listening to a more recent release A QUIET BELIEF IN ANGELS. I’m so in love with his work that I’ve ordered three more of his books and requested a fourth from the library. GREAT stuff!!
Also on tap for this week is Dennis Lehane’s new book, MOONLIGHT MILE. Woo hoo!!

Oh, If you are this excited about an author I must check him out! I’m so jealous you have Moonlight Mile! I didn’t even know it was being released until Hilary mentioned it last week!

I’m in the middle of OUTLANDER and loving it so much I may end up staying up all night tonight finishing it. I also started FRAGILE by Lisa Unger, but it is languishing unread because of OUTLANDER. I’m also currently listening to THE SWEETNESS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PIE. If I finish my books, it will be on to THE SECRET LIVES OF BABA SEGI’S WIVES and, hopefully, THE TRICKING OF FREYA. If I finish my audio (likely), I may start FRANKENSTEIN.
