What are you reading this week?

I’ve heard After You is very good. Have a great week!
I’ve heard great things about The Forgotten Garden. I hope you love it!
I have to say I don’t know ANY of the books you are reading (although I suppose I will after your reviews!), but I can’t believe you’re already on the 7th Tomorrow book!
I’m planning to finish “The Seance” by John Harwood tonight. I don’t usually take a lunch break on Mondays, but I just might so I can finish it! I’m also somewhere in the middle of “Shelf Discovery,” but I’m just picking that up here and there, so I may or may not finish it this week. Tomorrow/tonight I’ll be starting “The Private Papers of the Eastern Jewel.” I am NOT excited about it because I’ve seen some fairly negative reviews, but it was a LibraryThing Early Reviewer book from July so I need to get it read. If that doesn’t sap all my energy, I’m going to try to get in “People of the Book” by Geraldine Brooks for a LibraryThing group read.
I’m also approaching the end of “Where Men Win Glory” by Jon Krakauer on audio, and when that is done I’ll be starting the audio of “Sense and Sensibility” to prepare for “Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters” later this month.

Jen-
I’ve been meaning to read The Seance! Your enthusiasm about it makes me want to read it sooner.
Okay, you have managed to list books I’ve never heard of…lol!

J.Kaye-Yay! (I think!) I’m actually trying to pick more “obscure” books to review. Ones that are great, but aren’t getting a ton of coverage on blogs.
Hi! Interesting book genres! From Thunder and Blood – I’m curious how you liked that? – to The Forgotten Garden – I listened to that on Audible and liked it alot! Have a good week!

I really enjoyed The Cutting. I have The Forgotten Garden in my TBR pile — bought it over the summer and still haven’t gotten to it, so I’ll be looking forward to seeing what you think.
I did read Damnable. It was pretty good.
Am reading Don Bruns latest, Stuff to Spy For. Light and funny, just as I’d hoped. Just picked up Libby Fischer Hellmann’s latest, Doubleback, and hit up the used bookstore for some paperback stuff that I’d missed out on.

Becky-I started Damnable last night but couldn’t get into it. Could have been the time of day! Will try it again. I’ve heard nothing but great things about The Forgotten Garden! Just realized (duh me!) that Morton also wrote House at Riverton!
The only book I have read of those is The Cutting. I shall need to look into the others. Happy Reading. My list is here: http://www.rundpinne.com/2009/11/what-are-you-reading-mondays.html
