Teaser Tuesday: November 3rd
Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along!
Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
My teaser this week comes from Knit the Season: A Friday Night Knitting Club Novel by Kate Jacobs (released today!):
“Memories add color to the facts,” said Gran, sliding her arm through Dakota’s for the return walk, moving somewhat more slowly than before. “All the different pieces, all the different relationships, come to gether to make up a life.”
What is your teaser this week?

Reminds me that I have to put that book on hold. Others have mentioned it, too!
From page 73 of a great book about animals, God, and stories about both: Animals in Heaven? by Susi Pittman. “We were told that her cancer was advanced, and that we could expect her to live only two to three more months at most.
The heart aches harder when it knows you are about to lose a beloved family member, especially at Christmas time.”
Lots of heartwarming personal stories, lots of stories about saints and animals and, here, the heartbreak of losing a pet AND ways to mitigate that grief.
I love these books. . .they always make me want to run out and buy a bunch of yarn!
The first two in this series were sooooo good, I can’t wait to read this one.
Lovely teaser.
Great teaser! I soooo want to read this!
