Thankfully Reading Weekend 2011: Day Two!

Day two of Thankfully Reading Weekend is here! How did everyone fare yesterday?  I admit; I didn’t get nearly as much reading done as I would have liked. I’m visiting family and we actually went out to brave Black Friday crowds. Not too early, we didn’t head out til the afternoon. Today we’re doing a little shopping then I hope to curl up with a book before more family arrives.

Keep reading, keep relaxing.  Hopefully I’ll be joining you this afternoon!

  1. I finished two that I needed to finish, wrote the review on the first one and started the review on the 2nd. Now, I’m on my third…again, another one that I was about 1/2 way into. Feels so good to put these babies to bed!! ;)

  2. busy reading “In Search of the Rose Notes”. Bought it along with “Insatiable” from Bookperks on the web. Finished reading “Insatiable” and liked it. A few months ago also I bought 2 “Maisie Dobbs’” books from Berkperks . I am trying to get through Rose Notes and trying not to look at the end (bad, bad, I will control myself). I just wonder where this book is heading, I hope it is worth the anticipation.LOL

  3. I did Black Friday sales once and found that it wasn’t worth it to me. I hope you find time to read. I’ve read 1.5 books, since I was about halfway through a book when I started this weekend. I’m starting my second full book, but only read 11 pages.

  4. I finally finished my looonnng blog post for the Cybils fiction picture book nominees. And finally…I am reading. Language of Flowers. Thankfully!

  5. Got a late start to this party. I finished The Solomon Sisters Wise Up by Melissa Senate (loved). Almost finished with Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? by Mindy Kaling..wish I had read more but this weekend has been crazier than I thought!

  6. I worked today, but it gave me a chance to check out three more library books! (Maybe not such a good thing?) Anyway, I got two more books finished yesterday, and am hoping to get a couple more done before the weekend is over. This has been so great! :)
