A present to myself this month was to read more from my TBR shelf, books I’ve been wanting to read but haven’t had the time to. So, after I read my current reads, I’m picking a random book from my bookshelf to read!

Good for you, Jenn! That’s what I did for Thankfully Reading weekend. I read what I wanted to and it’s so nice to do that every once in awhile. Of course, I really only accept review books of books that I think I’ll want to read, so that helps too!
This week I’m finishing up BLUE GENES on audio by Val McDermid. And in print I should finish her REPORT FOR MURDER today. Then I’m moving on to my first Tami Hoag novel, SECRETS TO THE GRAVE.

Jen-
So true, so true. It took me nearly a year to realize I didn’t have to accept every book pitched to me. Important lesson learned!

What do you think of the audio of The Historian? So many people have told me I have to read it!
Right now I’m reading Thomas Hardy’s Under the Greenwood Tree–to prepare for our annual family tradition of a DC Revels performance next week!

I’m really enjoying The Historian! I read it when it was released but I think I’m getting more out of it as an audio.
Oh I hope you are enjoying The Historian on audio. I think I might have to try it too. I also hope you like Matched. It was a very good read. Have a wonderful week!

The Historianis one of those books meant for audio, especially due to the formatting. I’m truly enjoying it!

It’s not necessarily “scary”, but then again I’ve only read a few dozen pages. I’m really enjoying Matched so far!
