I've got The Postmistress on my tbr. I'm reading Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie and a Hunter S Thompson book on the 1972 US Presidential Election.

For this week I'm reading SOUTH OF BROAD by Pat Conroy and it's absolutely amazing. I also just started OUR LADY OF IMMACULATE DECEPTION by Nancy Martin. I just started it last night, but how can you not immediately fall in love with this first line, "The only witness to the arson was a one-armed marble statue of a naked man with ivy growing where his fig leaf should have been" ? Ha!
Last week I finished up 212 by Alafair Burke. Just amazing. Love her work! I also finished listening to her DEAD CONNECTION on audio. I've read it before, but was re-reading to prep for her interview. Book is great, audio, not as much.
Still listening on audio to THE POWER OF THE DOG by Don Winslow. Fabulous stuff…book and audio.

I still need to read SOUTH OF BROAD. I'm a huge fan of Conroy's writing and I've heard mixed reviews of this one.
Sounds like you're reading a lot of great books! I finish traveling for work after this weekend so hopefully I'm able to play a little catch up!

I'm pretty sure that I am STILL going to be listening to CANTERBURY TALES net week when I'm commenting on this post again. Seems sort of interminable at the moment.
I started Sarah Pekkanen's THE OPPOSITE OF ME this morning and love it, wish I wasn't at work today. Next up is ALMOST HOME, because I need to have it reviewed for next Monday. Then maybe BEAUTIFUL DEAD, even though my tour date isn't for awhile. If I have time at the end of the week I'll start THE SCARLET LION, otherwise that's how I'll start next week.

BEAUTIFUL DEAD is getting bumped back in favor of RESTORING HARMONY. The author had it sent to me as part of a 1-ARC tour, so I feel the need to read it fairly quickly. It isn't out until May, so I guess I'll just have to hold my review for awhile.

I can't wait to see what you think of Black Hills.
I finished THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO by Stieg Larsson and John Boyne's THE BOY IN THE STRIPED PYJAMAS. I thought TGWTDT was amazing: loved the characters and was intrigued by the story. TBITSP was, a very good travel-book (since I read while on the bus from my hometown to my brother's and back).
I've started CAFE TOSCANA (by mexican Susana Silva), but I'm not liking it this far. I should be finishing it today, I think. Will be reading THE DUNE MESSIAH by Frank Herbert and THE GIRL WHO PLAYED WITH FIRE by Larsson / or FEAR OF ANIMALS by Ernique Serna.

Echo Burning was so good. Wintertime is a good time for that one because the heat of west Texas just permeates the story. That's the way I felt when I read it anyway. Will be curious to see if you feel warmer listening to it. Of course that warm feeling could be Jack Reacher related
