I was excited was presented with the opportunity to review America’s Most Wanted Recipes by Ron Douglas. This book received coverage on Good Morning America and a number of other morning shows. The book is full of “secret” recipes for America’s favorite restaurant foods.
Skimming through the numerous great recipes, I had a hard time deciding which recipe to feature. I was tasked with trying the food item at the resturaunt, and then making it at home, comparing the taste of each. Since I couldn’t decide, I handed the book over to my husband and he quickly made his decision.
College football was on that day, and what goes best with football? WINGS! It just so happens America’s Most Wanted Recipes contains a recipe for HOOTERS wings! So, my husband (the cook in our house!) gathered up all the ingredients (luckily, we already had everything!) and started.
The instructions were very easy to follow and soon our house was permeated with the smell of buffalo wings. And so it came to the taste test. They were delicious! I wouldn’t say they tasted EXACTLY like HOOTERS wings, but the receipe was pretty darn close! They tasted so good, he made them again the next day.

The Finished Product!
We will definitely be trying out other receipes in the book. I highly recommend this cookbook. My only complaint would be the lack of pictures. I’m a visual person and would like to have seen at least a picture of what the final product should look like. I guarantee that every family will find several recipes they’ll love in this cookbook. So, what are you waiting for! Go out and get it!
Today’s the first official day of Book Blogger Appreciation Week! The purpose of this post is to recognize a few of my favorite blogs. Now, I have waaay too many favorites to list in one post, so I’m just going to list three blogs that I love. And, obviously, used a very selective method to select these blogs (I closed my eyes, scrolled, and whichever blog the or landed on, wins!).
The next blog is
