Hornsby Joe Hill
Voices of Dragons by Carrie Vaughn
Original Sin by Allison Brennan
Last Night in Twisted River by John Irving
Yes…I’m really reading five books at one time. Technically, one is an audio. Each book is vastly different, otherwise I’d never be able to read this many at once.
Books to Complete This Week
a life revealed by Suzi Katz

I think Voices of Dragons sounds like a book I would enjoy. I know dragons were once all the rage, but I love reading stories with or about them. Favorites were the Pern series, and Enchanted Forest Chronicles by Wede. Have a great week.

Wow, that is a lot of books to read at once, even if one IS audio!
Okay, first things first, I’m reading Brunonia Barry’s new book “The Map of True Places” right now and loving it. I’ll probably finish it today because I just don’t want to stop reading. Up next is going to be “Creation of Eve,” then maybe “The House of Tomorrow,” following up with “Shadow of the King.” Also, I *swear* that this week is the one where I will begin “Sisters in War.” Really.
On the audio front, I’m going to be starting “Revolutionary Road” today or tomorrow for Literate Housewife’s That’s How I Blog show.
Are you still trading off “Voices of Dragons” with your son?

Ha! I finally have it back! It wasn’t quite what he thought it was going to be!
I can keep up with one book and one audio, but that’s about it for my little brain. Enjoy!

Last night I finished ONCE A SPY by Keith Thomson, which was a unique, fun spy thriller. I’m usually not a big spy thriller fan, but this was a new twist on the subgenre. I enjoyed the father-son relationship and the fresh idea of a spy with Alzheimer’s.
On audio I’m listening to THE LOCK ARTIST by Steve Hamilton and yes, I’m still working on THE POWER OF THE DOG by Don Winslow. It’s a magnificent book; don’t let my pokiness fool you. I’ve only been listening to it when I walk on the treadmill, though, so that’s slowed me down.
And finally I started TROGLODYTES by Ed Lynskey today.
I’ve usually got four or five books going at the same time, too. I get bored if I’m just reading one at a time! I’ve been debating about whether or not to put “Twisted River” on my TBR list – John Irving can be great but also not so great sometimes. Hope you enjoy all your books this week.

Irving definitely writes books you can’t rush through! I’m taking my time with this one, no real rush to finish it.

You have quite a few books going on! I am interested in Numbers and curious what you thought of Merlins Harp.
Hope your week is wonderful!
Numbers sounds interesting to me and Voices of Dragons is on my TBR list. I hope you enjoy your reading this week.
Here is what I’m reading.
