Reading the first of the Inspector Van Veeteren mysteries by Håkan Nesser, and continuing on the Adrian Mole series by Sue Townsend. Also plodding along with some nonfiction: Blood Work by Holly Tucker and The Hot House by Pete Earley. Just finished & reviewed (http://bit.ly/hutAVW) Tinkers by Paul Harding, the 2010 Pulitzer Prize winner.

I have HEADS YOU LOSE waiting for me. Last week I finished Jonathan Hayes’ forensic novel, A HARD DEATH, which I think you will like, Jenn. I’m about to finish Julia Spencer-Fleming’s A FOUNTAIN FILLED WITH BLOOD on audio and then plan to start her I SHALL NOT WANT.
I was going to start LONG GONE by Alafair Burke last night on my e-reader, but I ran into some technical difficulties. So, I turned to Marcia Clark’s GUILT BY ASSOCIATION instead. Good stuff all around. If one doesn’t work out, I have back-up!
I hope you enjoyed the Four Ms Bradwells. I need to read this soon, my book club is discussing it this month.

I just downloaded The Raising…what do you think so far???
I’ve got a couple of books going right now that seem to be quite good so far: MOTHERS & DAUGHTERS by Rae Meadows and GALORE by Michael Crummey. I’m hoping to finish both and at least start on THE FORGOTTEN FOUNDING FATHER by Joshua Kendall and LITTLE WOMEN this week.
In audio I’ve got THE TUDOR SECRET by C.W. Gortner going, not quite sure what I’ll turn on next.
