This weekend I read INNOCENT MONSTER, which I highly recommend. It will release in October and is the most recent in Reed Farrel Coleman’s Moe Prager series. This is a series that is best read in order, though. The entire series is exceptional and Coleman is a magnificent story teller.

Now I’m on to Laura Lippman’s I’D KNOW YOU ANYWHERE. I’m already completely hooked; I just wish I had another full free day to just lose myself in it like I did INNOCENT MONSTER.

On audio I’m finishing up my re-listen of Craig Johnson’s THE COLD DISH. It was my recommendation for our book club since Craig is coming to our trade show in February. My re-listen has reminded me how much I love this book and the entire series. Next I’m on to THRILLER, a collection of short stories. Fun, fun stuff. This has truly been an exceptional reading year for me.

  2. I hope you like KRAKEN, I just listened to it recently.

Right now I’m reading THE GENDARME by Mark Mustian (Amy Einhorn books – yay!). I’m also reading MR PEANUT by Adam Ross along with Heather (@capriciousreader). Depending on how long it takes me to get through those I may read FRAGILE by Lisa Unger, then Elizabeth Chadwick’s FOR THE KING’S FAVOR and Joanne Rendell’s OUT OF THE SHADOWS.

Right now I’m listening to Georgette Heyer’s FOOTSTEPS IN THE DARK, but that’s short so I should move on to THE CREATION OF EVE soon.

I had to return Kraken to the library before I finished it :( . Oh well, I’ll probably and up buying it anyway!

I’m beginning to wonder if I’m the only person who hasn’t read the Hunger Games! [sigh] Maybe it’s time to jump on the bandwagon.

    Yes, you must!!

  4. Looks like you’ve got a great list. Did you like Mocking Jay?

    Jenn Reply:

I did. I have some issues with it, but overall I enjoyed it.

I have The Life You Imagined right here waiting for me. Lee Child is an author I have not read in some time and really should. Enjoy your week. I look forward to reading your reviews. My Monday is located here: http://www.rundpinne.com/2010/08/its-monday-what-are-your-reading.html
