To Celebrate My Blogiversary-A Giveaway!

I’ve already treated myself to a few (ok several!) books to celebrate my two-year blogiversary. I thought it would be great to do the same for my readers. I decided to bring back a very successful contest I held during BBAW last year–the Win the Book of your choice giveaway!

Just like the title states, this contest grants you the chance of winning the book of your choice (maximum cost $20 USD).  To enter, comment below.  In your comment you must specify which book you would like to win and why. Be sure to include your email address so I have a way to contact you if you win. If you fail to answer the question or include your email address, your entry will be deleted.

Contest ends Monday, March 15th.  Oh, and did I forget to mention THIS CONTEST IS OPEN INTERNATIONALLY!  Good luck!

I had to mark this post ‘keep as read’ and come back to it, because ‘what book do you want’ is a tough question for me. Choosing only 1 is super difficult for me, I get overwhelmed with the possibilities. I would say PROBABLY “Angelology” by Danielle Trussoni, because Swapna was raving about it. If I win you may have to ask me again, though, because the answer is likely to have changed….

I would love to have a copy of Incarceron. I just finished it and it was so good I need to go through it again! Thanks!

    Happy Blogiversary!
One of the books I would most like to have is Cook your way to Health by Paulette Millis because all the recipes have healthy ingredients and are gluten free.

O.k., I was going back and forth, thinking, NO, I don’t need to bring more books in the house. But then there’s a book I’ve been eyeing and haven’t taken the plunge to buy yet, so I broke down. After all, we need to celebrate with you, right?? ;-) I need some rationalization here, whether it’s logical or not.

So, I’m going to say 50/50 KILLER by Steve Mosby.

Happy Blogiversary, Jenn…here’s to many more years of talking books over the Interwebs!!

Tough question. But I am going to say Strange Angels by Lili St Crow. Because I have a copy of the second book Betrayals and cant read a series out of order.

Oh, so many books! But this morning the answer would be “The Maze Runner” by James Dashner.

    Congratulations on your blogiversary!

I will like to win The Maze Runner because it looks like a really interesting book, although I’m not sure if I want to start another series. I will have to wait a whole year for the next book!

    First, congratulations on your blogiversary!!!

Secondly, you know how hard it is to pick just one book, right? lol I’m going to say The Help, just because it’s so hard for me to get and keep long enough to read!

    Happy Blogiversary!!!

It is so hard to pick just one book…and usually I get antsy once any book I want to read is out and get it from the library or publisher if I am reviewing it ….but I would have to say “The Children’s Book by A.S. Byatt. I have had the book three times from the library..started then got bogged down in reviewing or “Mommying”…and not been able to read it before I had to return it! Oh a book started and not finished…how it haunts me. It would be nice to own and actually read!!!! =)

    Thanks and congrats again!

Congratulations on your 2nd blogiversary! One can never buy too many celebratory books! ;-) That’s a great family photo on your “About Me” page, btw.

If I should win the giveaway, I’d request Kelli Stanley’s CITY OF DRAGONS. I’m interested to read about this woman who has reinvented herself in 1940s San Francisco.

I would like to win Before I Fall. The reason is because, after hearing about from you, I did a wee bit of reading about the book and the premise just grabbed me. I am sure it would be a memorable read. Who doesn’t want a memorable read?

  16. 16

I would want to win The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay because I started it once from the library but didn’t get around to finishing it because it’s kind of long.

This truly is a tough question. If I win I want MissFortune by Sara Mills. It’s a historical mystery. The female lead is a PI.

I would really like to win the book entitled “The Good Soldiers,” if I am chosen. It is a rare expose into the troops in Iraq. Thanks for the opportunity. Happy Blogiversary! Keep up the great work on Twitter……

Congrats on your Blogiversary, Jenn!! :)
It’s so hard to choose … but I’d love to win Suite Scarlett by Maureen Johnson. I started following her on Twitter a few months ago and she’s a riot. I haven’t had the chance to read any of Maureen’s books but I’m sure that, like her Tweets, they will be funny and entertaining.

    Thanks and congrats again!

    Happy two year blogiversary, lady!

Gosh, if I could have my pick of a book? I’d pick The Mercy of Thin Air by Ronlyn Domingue. I saw a post she wrote once and loved it, and Publisher’s Weekly called her book, “A gothically tinged historical take on The Lovely Bones.” I didn’t have to read anymore to know I’d want to read it! :)

    Jenn Reply:

Good pick, Trish! I read this one for my book club and LOVED it!

I would love to win Mornings in Jenin by Susan Abulhawa, because I have read several good reviews about this novel, one of which said that Mornings in Jenin could do for Palestine what The Kite Runner did for Afghanistan. I’m hooked!

Please enter me in this giveaway!
