Thankfully Reading, Day Two!

I had a very productive day yesterday!  We put up the tree and all the trimmings by ten AM.  Then I set down to read.  I completed Shutter Island by Dennis Lehane. Wow!  What a book!  If you haven’t read it, read it now! It was so good I had to take a break from reading for the rest of the night.  I’m still thinking about it!

Today I’m reading Now & Then by Jacqueline Sheehan.  I hope to finish it today.

    I loved Shutter Island – I read it years ago and it still holds a spot on my shelf today. Great read!

    I’m so impressed! It takes us days to put our tree up. I really want to read Shutter Island because I thought Mystic River was fantastic.

    I am eager to read your review of Shutter Island…sounds good! Now and Then is on my TBR pile (but not for this weekend!) too…I’ll be interested in hearing how you like it.

    Looks like you are having a great reading weekend and a GREAT Thanksgiving. I have been dog-goned busy. I got a moment to read last night and I don’t know where or why I got the craving to read Pride and Prejudice and Zombies..but I did… I was amused with it..next think I know.. Clunk.. the Kindle hit me on the head. LOL

    Wow you have your tree up already? No trees are allowed up in my house until after my birthday. Michael keeps saying but mommy why? LOL

    You have been super productive this weekend with reading and with home stuff! Kudos :)

    I’ve not been as successful with Thankfully reading as I’d wanted to be but other things got in the way. I am about 1/2 way through Beautiful Creatures though and it’s a great read. Totally recommend it already.
