It’s Monday! What Are You Reading This Week?

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading This Week? This is a weekly event to list the books completed last week, the books currently being reading, and the books to be finish this week. It was created by J.Kaye’s Book Blog, so stop by and join in!

Books Completed Last Week

With all the BBAW judging I’ve been doing and my move over to this domain and self-hosting, I didn’t get nearly as much reading done last week as I would have liked.  I guess this week I’ll be playing catch up!

The Black Echo by Michael Connelly (audiobook)
Bran Hambric: The Farfield Curse by Kaleb Nation

Currently Reading

Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins
No Mercy by John Gilstrap

Tomorrow, When the War Began (The Tomorrow Series #1) by John Marsden

Books to Complete This Week

Yikes! What a long list!

Alex Cross’s TRIAL by James Patterson
Evil at Heart by Chelsea Cain
Jack Wakes Up by Seth Harwood
Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins
Fragment by Warren Fahy
The Lion’s Eye: Seeing in the Wild by Joanna Greenfield
School of Fear by Gitty Daneshvari

Wow, good luck with your TBR list! I only read ONE book last week, but it was a fun one.

  2. I’m about to start Elizabeth Chadwick’s “The Greatest Knight” (sometime this morning). I’m not sure what will come after that, but “The Hunger Games” and “Catching Fire” will come somewhere in the middle. Hmm, maybe I should quickly read “The Hunger Games” before actually starting “The Greatest Knight.” My house is a mess, so unless Daniel is really a napping CHAMP this week, I don’t think I’ll read anything else, although I might finish my audiobook. That’s unfortunate since I’m slightly behind on review books, but oh well.

  3. Bran Hambric is on my TBR this coming weekend. I have restrained myself to waiting until right before I tour this book but it has been hard! LOL

That’s an ambitious plan you have for this week. 7 books! I can’t even seem to finish one. Maybe when the school starts I will have more time for myself and my reading.

  5. I used to read around 10 books a week. Now I can only read 10-14 books a month.

I hope you achieve your goal!

    Happy reading!

I just finished a foodie memoir, The Gastronomy of Marriage. Now I’m reading Sharon Potts’s In Their Blood, a mystery.

Oh my gosh, with all that you had to do, I can’t believe you read any books! You rock! :) NO MERCY looks really good!

  9. Julie P. says:

You sure are going to be busy this week! I can relate!

  10. Teddyree says:

Hey 2 books is pretty good especially with all the work you’re doing with BBAW, good luck with catching up! You’ve got some great books listed, love James Patterson & I’ve got Suzanne’s Collins novels on my tbr pile, have to get stuck into Hunger Games first. Happy Reading :-)

Have a great reading week! :D

  12. Pam says:

Woohoo for Catching Fire! I’m 100pages in and picked it up at 9am this morning. I feel all warm and fuzzy too because when I got mine, they hadn’t gotten their display out, yet and the guy at the store was like “what IS this book? We’ve been open for five minutes and this is the second one I’ve gotten out of the back room.” I think I had the entire staff convinced to read it. :)
