It’s Monday! What Are You Reading This Week? This is a weekly event to list the books completed last week, the books currently being reading, and the books to be finish this week. It was created by J.Kaye’s Book Blog, so stop by and join in!
Last week was a rough week for me as far as reading goes. I started the Game On Diet and I feel most of my free time last week was spent preparing meals. Then the 4th of July rolled around, and my son’s 4th birthday, and all my free time was zapped! So, while I only completed one book, I’m close to completing a few more.
Completed Last Week
Darling Jim: A Novel by Christian Moerk (audiobook)
Currently Reading
The Poet by Michael Connelly (about 20 pages from the end. GREAT book)
Books to Read this Week
A Short History of Women: A Novel by Kate Walbert
How Perfect Is That by Sarah Bird
The Castaways by Erin Hilderbrand
The Crying Tree by Naseem Rakha
Jennifer Johnson Is Sick of Being Single by Heather McElhatton
So, what will you be reading this week?

Sounds like a great list. Happy reading!
I can't wait to hear what you think of Jennifer Johnson. I reviewed this a few weeks ago and due to my no spoiler policy I had a hard time discussing this book. I am looking forward to your review!
The Crying Tree is one I'm anxious to read. I hope you enjoy it!
I'm reading David Levien's Where the Dead Lay. I really wanted to finish this weekend but I still have about half the book left at this point.
My plans are to read "Fallen Idol" for a book club I'm in.
I really enjoyed the Castaways. Are you doing the Blog Tour? I'm Thursday.
Fun books for this week! Enjoy them!
I'm sort of a late bloomer when it comes to Michael Connelly. I am just now getting into his books…really love his writing.
Enjoy your reading Jenn.
I know I have some photos to view from your celebration. Good luck getting back on track on Game on Diet. I am cheering for you.
I had a rough week too!
I didn't do too good this week. Update 2
I've had The Poet sitting in my TBR pile for a really long time. I should pick it up soon.
I agree with you … the Game On Diet sucks up a lot of time!!!! But it seems to be working — although my reading and blogging is suffering!
And I'm such a slow reader … I only read one book at a time!
I want to read Darling Jim. How was listening to it?
Great list! Happy reading
