24-Hour Readathon: Update #2

It’s just after 4 pm here, so about eight hours in to the readathon. After taking a few hour break for my son’s belt ceremony (and a trip to Baskin Robbins for an ice cream treat) I’ve been back in the game for about an hour now.  I’m feeling good, not to tired and keeping a nice steady reading pace here. My wonderful husband just brewed another pot of coffee for me so I’m sure that will help keep me going!

Progress so far:

  • Currently reading: FEED by Mira Grant
  • Books finished: RED, WHITE and BLOOD by Christopher Farnsworth
  • Pages read since last update: 213
  • Running total of pages read: 598
  • Amount of time spent reading: 2.5 hours
  • Running total of time spent reading: 5 hours
  • Mini-challenges completed:
  • Other participants I’ve visited:
  • Snacks: Ice cream (thin mint in a waffle bowl) some fresh veggies, crackers & cheese with spinach dip
