Spring is in the air! I’ve given up all hope of getting snow this year and instead have decided to look forward to all the beauty spring has to offer. You know, like rain, pollen, tax season. All the good stuff. Seriously, though, February was a really great reading month for me, not because of the quantity of books read, but the quality!

I mentioned a few weeks ago that I signed on as a contributor to SheKnows Book Lounge. Today my debut article posted: Femme Fatale: Hot Thrillers by Female Authors. This is a monthly feature I’m really looking forward to. I’ll also be posting a number of other articles & features, several to celebrate the release of the Hunger Games movie in particular. So stay tuned!

Great list of books, I’ve always loved A Wrinkle in Time. Need to read the whole series. I think L’engle died a few years ago. Don’t quote me.:)

I loved A Good American, must complete my review.
I still have Defending Jacob in my stack….I will be reading it soon!!
aw, I love spring, but your list of things made me laugh. but our weather has been very spring-like since January so we’ll actually be suffering from summer when you’re suffering from allergies, sorry to say.
This month I enjoyed an old classic Susan Hill’s ‘The Woman in Black’ and the shiny new but set in the 1800′s Australia ‘That Deadman Dance’ by Kim Scott.
Haven’t finished it yet, but absolutely head over heels with ‘The Snow Child’, the words, language, movement, everything about it inspires, am in awe.

February was quite a good month for me as well in terms of quantity and quality. Glad to hear yours was just as good if not better!
Will be looking forward to your Hunger Games posts – already have tickets to take 8 girls on the 23rd for my daughter’s birthday. Post Hunger Games party game suggestions welcome!
That is a very impressive list. I haven’t heard of a lot of them. As for the snow…I thought we weren’t going to get any, but there is snow in my yard this morning. Personally, I like tax season. I’m weird, I know. I like getting a refund. My taxes are done already, and I’ve received my $$.
