Bright & early tomorrow am, I’ll be on my way to New York for Book Expo America, one of the biggest events in the publishing industry.
The blog will be quiet…I will not be posting much, if at all, until the end of the week. I will have a sticky-post “welcoming” those I meet at BEA but that will probably be it.
Surprise, surprise, I had another wonderfully bookish week last week:
Alan Orloff, author of Killer Routine, the first book in the Last series and Diamonds for the Dead, a stand-alone novel visited One More Page Books last weekend. It was quite the hilarious event; Alan entertained the crowd with a witty (and sometimes humorous) stand-up routine.
Last Thursday, authors Sarah Pekkanen and Eleanor Brown stopped by One More Page. It was a wonderful event complete with great food, wine & chocolate:
And my favorite picture: two booksellers (owner Eileen & bookseller Lisa), their attention captured by the two wonderful authors:
In the event you missed them, following are the reviews posted last week:
- Frightful Friday: Graveminder by Melissa Marr
- Review: Crooked Letter, Crooked Letter by Tom Franklin
- A Week of Wondrous Activities at One More Page Books & More!
- Review: A Drop of the Hard Stuff by Lawrence Block
