That’s quite a team effort to get Mr. Wight to appear at the school. I think it is awesome that he had everyone help create a new story for Frankie Pickle.

Meeting a real live author is very exciting. I remember being soooo nervous when I was a kid and got to meet Richard Scarry who illustrated some of mine and my brother’s favorite books. He was really friendly and got everyone excited about reading, drawing and using our imagination.

Keep up the good work John – you are inspiring readers and gaining praise from writers. Famous indeed!
