Last week I finished up THE LOCK ARTIST by Steve Hamilton, which I highly recommend. It’s a fantastic crime fiction book. I also finished up TROGLODYTES by Ed Lynskey, which is the fifth book in his P.I. Frank Johnson series.

I thought I was starting THE BOOK OF LOST THINGS (again) by John Connolly on audio but the fates are not with me. The second time I’ve gotten it from the library didn’t work any better than the first. So, I’m listening to THE BLADE ITSELF by Marcus Sakey instead.

And finally, I’m starting PRETTY IN INK which is Karen Olson’s second book in her Tattoo Shop mystery series. The first book, THE MISSING INK was very cute and quirky, so I’m looking forward to this one!

  2. Last week, I finished Linda Fairstein’s Hell Gate. I hadn’t read her books recently, and I highly recommend this one.

And, I’m halfway through Jennifer Crusie and Bob Mayer’s Wild Ride. Even halfway through, I’m not finding this as good as their previous books. My sister and I both loved Agnes and the Hitman.

I’m interested in that Voices of Dragons book.. of course, Dragons in the title of anything sounds interesting =)

I can’t wait to read Horns. I’ve only read his short story collection, 20th Century Ghosts, but I really liked it. Enjoy your books!

  5. Right now I’m reading “Shadow of the King” and, at over 600 pages, I’ll probably be reading it for most of the week. I am *hoping* to put a review up on Friday, but it may not happen. If it does, I’ll move on to “The Queen’s Governess.”

I’m listening to “Revolutionary Road” and if I finish that, I may move on to “Little Women.”

  6. Will be interested in how you liked Voices of Dragons. I am not familiar with some of the other titles so I am going to have to check them out.

Awesome line-up. I have not read anything by Lee Child’s as of late and I need to remedy that. Have a wonderful week reading. If you get a moment, my Monday is here: http://www.rundpinne.com/2010/03/its-monday-what-are-you-reading-22_22.html

  8. I’m always amazed at how many books you read at one time! I’m looking forward to reading The Heart is Not a Size soon.

  9. Another person reading Beth Kephart….. I love her books! Have a fantastic week :)

I’m hoping to read Voices of Dragons and I’ve got Fireworks Over Toccoa at home to be read. Hopefully I will get to that next week. Happy reading!
