That is an insane amount of snow! I have NEVER seen that much snow fall at once, and I’ve lived in Chicago for 5 years now.

That same storm brought us over 4 inches of rain, so I can imagine what you got hit with. When we lived in North Carolina, we used to get ice storms and I remember those cracking branches and falling trees – it’s a sound like no other.
