Last week was pretty good for me, too. I finished THE DRAMATIST and L.A REQUIEM (again) on audio. I’m finishing up THE GENTLEMAN’S HOUR and THE LONG FALL. I’m also listening to WHAT THE DEAD KNOW on audio. I may finish that one this week. Then next up in the queue are Alafair Burke’s 212 in print, Don Winslow’s THE POWER OF THE DOG on audio, and Laura Lippman’s LIFE SENTENCES also on audio. Good stuff all around!

All these titles are new to me. Have a terrific week of reading!

I saw Home is Where the Wine is on someone else’s blog today :) Funny title.

Have a great week of reading!

I will be looking forward to a couple of these reviews!

Oh, THE POSTMISTRESS is good, enjoy!

Today I’m finishing up the audio of BAD THINGS HAPPEN, which is great (and you’d probably really enjoy, by the way) and the print version of THE QUEEN’S DOLLMAKER, which is good, but not fantastic. I’m going to read DREAM HOUSE fora blog tour next, then try to get into the Heyer book I need to have reviewed this month. If I finish all that, I’ll probably squeeze in MERLIN’S HARP for a blog tour later this month, then maybe EATING ANIMALS.

When I finish BAD THINGS HAPPEN I’m planning on starting the audio of THE BOOK OF UNHOLY MISCHIEF.

Love the Jack Reacher series. What are they like to listen to?

I do so want to read The Yellow House. I have Home Is Where the Wine is waiting for me to pick out of my pile. Happy reading this week, it looks as though you have some excellent books chosen. My Monday is here: http://www.rundpinne.com/2010/02/what-are-you-reading-mondays-1-february.html

Last week I finished DÍAS DE COMBATE by Paco Ignacio Taibo II, and made great advance on THE WITCHING HOUR by Anne Rice (hoping to finish it this week). I just finished PERCY JACKSON AND THE LIGHTNING THIEF (a movie comes out on February), and I’m going to start EL FIN DE LA LOCURA by Jorge Volpi, but may trade it for lighter reading.

This week I was absorbed into THE SWAN THIEVES. I highly recommend it, it was spectacular…I should have a review up soon. I also finished ELLY which was a YA Bio of the Holocaust. I am now still working on JANE BITES BACK (which I am having a little trouble with and keep putting down and going back to) and FAITH, HOPE AND IVY JUNE by Phyllis Reynold Naylor. I am looking forward to starting DEAR JOHN and THE BETRAYAL OF THE BLOOD LILY. Just put HOME IS WHERE THE WINE IS on my list…thanks for the great review!
