Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Eva and Marg that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library.
This is the first I’ve every participated in this meme. I’m not sure why I haven’t done it before! I’m constantly at the library! And since I’m participating in the 2010 Support Your Local Library Challenge, I think participating in this will help me keep track of all the library books I have out!

Do you sense a theme here? My son and I really enjoy looking through Tan’s books together. The artwork is stellar; you can literally lose yourself in it!

Oh I love Shaun Tan. Tales from Outer Suburbia is fantastic, not only for the art, but for the stories as well. I really need to get my own copy of that one. The Arrival is so unusual and gorgeous. It really needs more than one “reading” to fully appreciate. Lucky you, to have 3 Tans at once!!
I just recently read “The Arrival” and now really want to read “Tales From Outer Suburbia”. I hope you enjoy all the books.

I am a huge Shaun Tan fan, so this looks like a really good loot week to me! Hope you and your son enjoy them. The Arrival was my book of the year a couple of years ago. Just awesome when you consider it is a book with no words!
